Thanks to 4 invisible ties inside the apron, the Exquis can be adjusted to your baby's exact size. From birth up to approximately 15kg, it allows for physiological carrying of every child, from newborns to toddlers.
The Exquis physiological baby carrier, when worn in an X-shape, provides optimal weight distribution. Its unwavering support and lightness offer unparalleled comfort. If you're not a fan of X-shaped carrying, don't worry, we've thought of everything! You can carry your baby with the straps in an H-shape thanks to the included removable safety straps.

A little story behind its creation: our founder designed the Exquis for her second baby, who had an intense need for carrying due to GERD. After trying many models and never finding one that fully suited her, she decided to create a more comfortable and intuitive alternative.
Unlike traditional baby carriers, the Exquis does not have a rigid waist belt, which is often uncomfortable for the wearer, but a soft, lightly padded waist belt designed to provide optimal comfort.
Thanks to its flexible, cloud-like waist belt, the Exquis comfortably adapts to a wide variety of body shapes. Designed to provide pleasant support without feeling rigid, it suits both small and large body types, for comfortable daily carrying.

Yes, the Exquis allows back carrying once the baby has good head control, usually around 5-6 months. Its fully adjustable panel adapts to the baby's body in the back carry position, its cross-back straps ensure optimal stability, and its ring + clip waist belt system allows for independent installation.
It's one of parents' favorite positions for outings and everyday use, as it offers complete freedom of movement while keeping the baby comfortably seated.

Yes, absolutely. L'Exquis is designed with a single layer of fabric on the baby's back. Its Oeko-Tex® certified woven cotton fabric is naturally breathable and contains no padding, making it a lightweight and comfortable baby carrier to wear in hot weather.
As with any baby carrier, it's important to consider that it adds an extra layer of clothing for the baby. In hot weather, opt for light clothing: a simple bodysuit, or even just a diaper during very hot periods, may be sufficient depending on the temperature.
Also remember to protect areas exposed to the sun (head, arms, and legs) and ensure the baby stays well hydrated.
A focus on back carrying with the Exquis
Our Exquis physiological baby carrier allows back carrying from 5–6 months, when baby has sufficient muscle tone to be carried on the back and begins to want to observe the world around them. Thanks to its supportive waistband and comfortable shoulder straps, the weight is perfectly distributed between the hips and shoulders, for comfortable carrying even as your child grows.
Each baby carrier is equipped with a removable chest strap, specially designed for back carrying: it stabilizes the shoulder straps and ensures comfortable and secure support for everyday use.
