Anywhere, anytime. The linen sling can be used from birth, even for the physiological carrying of premature babies, and until the end of babywearing (4 years). It can be put on in 30 seconds and fits anywhere.

The ring sling, for everyone. An easy-to-install carrying method that both parents can use without difficulty, easy to slip into a diaper bag.

Tressez votre sling.

Mettez le sling au sèche-linge.

Surtout, portez votre bébé dans le sling ! Le tissu s'assouplit à force d'utilisation.

Questions fréquentes

  • A ring sling is an ergonomic baby carrier consisting of a long piece of fabric and two rings, allowing you to carry your baby without tying knots.

The sling is used by threading the fabric through the rings to create a simple and quick tightening system. It is worn over one shoulder, like a sash, and can be easily adjusted to fit both the parent's and baby's body.

Designed with specific babywearing fabrics (like those used for baby wraps), it offers optimal support while respecting baby's natural position: a rounded back, knees higher than the bottom, and appropriate support from birth.

The carrying sling is particularly appreciated for its ease of use, quick setup, and compact size. It is ideal for daily use, whether at home or out and about.

👉 In summary, the ring sling is a practical, ergonomic, and knot-free babywearing solution, perfect for carrying baby from their first days.

  • To successfully install your baby in a ring sling, the essential element is to achieve good pelvic tilt. Baby must be seated properly, with a rounded back and knees positioned higher than the bottom, which is what is called the physiological position.

You can consult our tutorials here

To achieve this, we recommend starting by forming a pleat with your sling (like a small roll, without unfolding all the fabric). Then place the baby directly ON this pleat, ensuring that the fabric passes well into the crook of the knees and that the bottom is slightly suspended.

Once the baby is well positioned, pull the fabric up to their nape to ensure good support. The fabric should be taut against their back, and all excess fabric should remain under their bottom.

For personalized support, you can also book a 30-minute video workshop with a certified babywearing consultant.

  • The sling can be used from birth until the child is three years old. It is also a carrying method used for premature babies.

  • To choose your sling wisely, it is essential to pay attention to the quality and type of fabric. Not all fabrics are created equal: opt for materials specially designed for babywearing, such as those used for wraps and ring slings. They provide good support while respecting the baby's physiology, particularly by promoting a nice rounded back.

Also, choose a baby sling made from certified fabrics, free from harmful substances, to ensure your baby's safety.

Natural materials are particularly recommended. For example, linen is an excellent option for a sling: it is known for its great strength, durability, and allows for a fabric that is both thin and offers very good support.

In summary, a good ring sling must be safe, comfortable, and provide optimal support to accompany the baby in a physiological position.

  • The ring sling is a practical, quick, and comfortable babywearing solution, ideal for everyday use.

First, it allows for simple and quick installation, without knots: just thread the fabric through the rings and adjust. This makes it a valuable ally for short outings or when baby wants to be held.

Next, the babywearing sling perfectly respects the baby's physiology. It allows for a natural position with a well-rounded back and knees higher than the hips, while adapting to their body shape.

The ring sling is also highly appreciated for its versatility: it is suitable from birth (with proper adjustment) and can be used for older babies. It also allows for hip carrying, a position often loved as baby grows.

Finally, it is compact and easy to carry everywhere. Tucked into a bag, it becomes an everyday essential, both at home and on the go.

In summary, choosing a ring sling means opting for practical, physiological babywearing suitable for all situations.

  • Yes, the ring sling is particularly suitable from birth, and even for premature babies, when used correctly.

The great advantage of the sling is that it perfectly respects the newborn's physiology. Unlike some baby carriers, the baby is placed in a "suspended" position, with no fabric forcing the legs apart. The carrying sling therefore does not impose hip abduction, which is essential in the very first days of life.
Finally, a few vigilance points are essential: baby must be positioned high up (within kissing distance), with airways always clear and fabric well-adjusted in the back.

👉 In summary, the ring sling is an ideal carrying solution from birth: physiological, gentle and perfectly adapted to the needs of little ones.

  • The ring sling offers several advantages over the stretchy wrap, particularly in terms of practicality, speed, and versatility.

First, it is much faster to set up. Unlike a stretchy wrap which requires precise tying, it is used without knots: simply adjust the fabric using the rings. This makes it an ideal solution for parents looking for a simple and effective babywearing option for everyday use.

The sling is also more versatile. It allows for different carrying positions, particularly on the hip, which is highly appreciated as soon as the baby becomes more curious about their surroundings. While the stretchy wrap is ideal for the first 5 to 6 months, the baby sling can be used throughout the child's development, from birth until approximately 3-4 years old.

Finally, the ring sling is more compact and easier to transport. It folds quickly and slips easily into a bag, unlike a stretchy wrap which is often bulkier.

👉 In summary, the ring sling is a practical and durable alternative to the stretchy wrap, ideal for daily, quick, and versatile use. You can read this blog post for more information

  • Yes, as with any baby carrier, using a sling requires observing some essential precautions to ensure your baby's safety and comfort.

The most important rule with a ring sling is to always keep baby's airways clear. Their face must remain visible at all times, with no fabric over their nose or mouth, and their chin should not be pressed against their chest.

Positioning is also key. In a baby sling, baby should be positioned high enough, within kissing distance, with their back well-rounded and their knees higher than their bottom. This physiological position ensures good support and respectful development of their body shape.

The fabric of the ring sling must be well adjusted and taut across baby's back. Precise tightening, panel by panel, prevents baby from slumping or tilting. All excess fabric should be well placed under the bottom to ensure good seating.

It is also recommended to distribute the fabric well over your shoulder for more comfort, and to regularly check the fit, especially with a newborn.

Finally, choose a ring sling made from suitable, certified, and supportive carrying fabric to ensure safety and durability.
